Channagiri is a taluk of Davanagere District and is situated between Shimoga and Chitradurga. It is very well connected by road to Bangalore, Davanagere, Shimoga, Birur, Chitradurga and Bhadravathi. Nearest railway stations are Shimoga (40 KMS) to the west and Holalkere (25 kms) to the east.

I have been to Rayaramata in Channagiri in my shcool days. It's place to bring the clam to body and soul by chanting Rayara gita's. It's a great attempt to rebuilding the temple. I appriciate your work.
